A nationwide search is to be conducted for the most inspiring and practical developments in Sustainable Facilities Management. The challenge is for organisations concerned with sustainability and development to gain the recognition they deserve in contributing to the saving of our planet.
The aims and intentions of the Sustainable FM Awards are simple - to promote the changes taking place, highlighting the environmental efforts being carried out by UK companies/organisations of all types and sizes.
All entries will be published in a handbook after the event, in order to share with others the ideas and innovations shown by the entrants in tackling their commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of their organisation.

There are absolutely no qualifying criteria that needs to be satisfied to enter the awards. All we ask is that organisations send us approximately 1000 - 1500 words detailing activities undertaken by them to reduce, by any means, the impact of their businesses on our environment. If possible, please send a couple of pictures to support your entry. Entries will be judged by a panel of recognised industry leaders and qualified experts.

us no later than August 31 2010.
